At St Mary’s Calne we are fortunate to have a community of parents, alumnae and supporters who are passionate about the future and the continued evolution of the school. Akin to most great public schools, the development of St Mary’s Calne, including many of our bursaries, buildings and facilities, would simply not exist without the philanthropy of others. Reliance on fee income alone constrains the pace of development. Through fundraising we are able to offer the outstanding education received at St Mary’s to a wider group of girls and realise additional projects, sooner than would otherwise be possible, that have the broadest impact on current, as well as future, pupils.
