On Friday 20th April, LIV Form and MIV Form went to Cotswold Water Park and completed many enjoyable activities including raft building, canoeing, kayaking, sailing, high ropes and windsurfing. Everyone had a fantastic afternoon with their instructors; but the raft builders had a tough time when their ropes came loose and they all had to abandon ship! The girls felt very envious when they saw the sailors cruising along without a wet splash in sight; however, we were all unsure as to how two (unfortunate!) girls managed to capsize in their perfectly stable boat – five seconds after leaving the jetty. It was a similar story with the kayakers, as a particular LIV student decided to change course and their destination was subsequently a hazardous bush. The MIV Form also took pleasure “high in the sky” with a course of high ropes and a windsurfing session. Overall, all of the girls who took part had a great time – even if they got a bit wet!
