Successful Bronze Final Expedition Weekend
Congratulations to the LV Form Bronze Teams 1, 4, 5, 6 and 7 on successfully completing their Final Expeditions last weekend. Teams were very efficient and well-organised beforehand, working hard to ensure their rucksacks were lighter than last time and planning to include work on their Expedition Aims. Blessed with beautiful weather – a vast improvement on the wet and cold of their Practice weekends – teams made excellent time, navigating well and reaching their checkpoints ahead of schedule. Saturday evening included filling suppers and games of rounders, leapfrog and human hurdles, after which most people slept well. On Sunday, teams set off in good spirits (Team 4 at 6.30am!) and headed purposefully toward Urchfont, most arriving before the rain. We look forward to these teams’ expedition presentations – via scrapbooks, collage and film – and to taking the remaining teams out on May 8th and 9th.
