In the final week of term, 50 girls in UV and LVI Forms undertook their Silver DofE Practice Expeditions on the Marlborough Downs.  Dry, sunny weather made for perfect walking conditions and the teams overcame various hazards: ‘vertical hills’, cows, setting off in the wrong direction, blisters, chemical loos and a very cold second night, to complete their Practice successfully and in excellent spirits before setting off for the Easter holiday or the Chamber Choir Tour. All are now ready for their Final Expedition to the Mendips over the final weekend and Monday of the Summer Term.
