The school archive contains many interesting documents which chart St Mary’s history since its foundation. Among the most precious is a series of diaries which were started when Miss Matthews became Headmistress in 1915. The diaries follow the day-to-day life of the school and are irreplaceable. In order to secure their content for the future the diaries have been digitised and are now available online. An additional benefit is that we are able to turn the pages and catch a glimpse of school life from up to a century ago.
