On Monday 30th November, a mixture of UV, LVI and UVI Drama students enjoyed a physical theatre workshop with the Frantic Assembly Theatre Company.

The company, who are responsible for the critically acclaimed productions of Lovesong, Othello and Beautiful Burnout as well as the beautiful choreography seen in the critically acclaimed production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time, taught the girls their unique brand of visceral and energetic movement in an intensive four-hour workshop.

The girls learnt about Frantic’s creative process and were taught some key choreography techniques such as ‘push hands’ and ‘Chair Duets’ which they will be able to replicate in their own work as they begin the rehearsal process for their A Level and GCSE practical pieces to be performed this spring.
