House staff supporting the LVI Form are led by Housemistress, Miss Sarah Bravington, ably assisted by Ms Caroline Adler (Deputy Housemistress) and Mrs Tedi Angelov (Day Housemistress).
House Tutors from amongst the academic staff also come in during the evening. These are Mr Dan Curran, Mrs Sian Stables, Mrs Hilary Malcolm, Mr Mark Cleaver and Mrs Jan McKernan. The system of House Tutors works well, giving students an opportunity to meet with teaching staff in a more informal environment.
The House is named after Mrs Walters who was Headmistress of St Mary’s from 1979 until 1985, which was when the House opened. It is nestled among the other senior Houses of the school with stunning gardens and fabulous trees surrounding it. There is also a private courtyard garden for the girls to enjoy.
The girls in LVI Form are encouraged to be independent and therefore have their own washing facilities and fully equipped kitchen.
