In true St Mary's tradition, the girls arrived looking fantastic wearing a touch of tartan.  After Dr Wright said the Selkirk Grace our guest piper, Mr Eric Dougherty piped in the haggis.  It was received by Mr Liston who addressed the haggis in a ferocious fashion.   The girls enjoyed a delicious dinner and sat back to listen to witty toasts given by Head Girl Emily, Mr Trowbridge and Dr Fowler, and then on to a programme of music and poetry.  Devon-Jane and Jenny recited some of the Bard’s works, Rebecca and Mr Spicer sang beautifully and Charlotte and Isabella  performed a medley of Scottish tunes.  The evening ended with a raucous reel in Top Hall presided over by Mr Liston.
