On Saturday 23rd January, we were delighted to welcome back St Mary’s Old Girl, Emily Knight. Emily is the starting centre for Scotland’s Senior Women’s Lacrosse Team. She played in the World Cup last summer in Prague and also plans to be a part of the next World Cup squad in 2013. Emily helped all the girls improve their lacrosse skills. She showed the senior girls a new type of attack and helped the Fourth Form develop their stick work, whilst stressing the importance of ground balls and draw controls to the Fifth Form. It was a fantastic session and we look forward to seeing their new skills put into practice in our forthcoming matches.
