LV (Year 10) and LVI (Year 12) drama students experienced an energising and inspiring workshop with Michelle Edwards from Frantic Assembly, a renowned physical theatre company.
On Sunday 6th June, the LVI (Year 12) Geography A Level class travelled down to Devon to conduct their A Level fieldwork. There they spent two productive days collecting data for their A Level coursework, while also developing their general fieldwork skills.
Saturday 12th June saw the return of our annual Sports Day at Beversbrook, after a year of reduced competitive sport. The weather was perfect which, along with the Company tents surrounding the finish line, created a great atmosphere for all the spectators and competitors.

This week Dr Kirk was delighted to award Grace (Year 7) a Head's Commendation for her success in the 'Poetry by Heart' national competition, where Grace achieved a 'Highly Commended' mention.

To understand History, the phrase ‘seeing is believing’ really is the case: it helps people to set events in their mind and gain some empathy with people from hundreds of years ago. Whilst we were unable to go abroad this year on our usual History trip to the Battlefields, we were able to take the opportunity to do a virtual tour of Auschwitz, the most notorious Nazi concentration camp.
