We were delighted to welcome so many girls to St Mary’s this weekend for our Tennis and Lacrosse Experience Day, enjoying a fantastic day of sport in the glorious Calne sunshine.
A special highlight was welcoming back former pupil Amy Bolton (2022 Leaver), who is now a Senior Ireland Lacrosse National Team player. Amy generously shared her expertise and enthusiasm with participants throughout the day, inspiring the next generation of players as they developed their skills and confidence on the pitch.
The girls enjoyed a packed programme of tennis and lacrosse activities, taking part in a range of fun and engaging drills designed to develop technique, teamwork and game awareness. Whether trying a sport for the first time or building on existing experience, every participant embraced the opportunity to challenge themselves, make new friends and enjoy being active outdoors.
The day was filled with energy and plenty of smiles, and it was wonderful to see the girls making the most of the excellent facilities and coaching on offer.
We would like to thank Amy for her support and inspiration, our motivational PE team, and all the pupils who joined us for making the day such a success.
