St Mary’s Calne is a dedicated full-boarding school, where more than  80% of our pupils are full boarders living on our safe 27-acre campus throughout the week and weekends. Growing together through horizontal boarding

We do things a little differently here with a horizontal boarding structure. This means girls live with friends their own age, experiencing the same milestones together. They begin in comfortable, shared bedrooms before moving into individual rooms in Year 10 to encourage independence and focus. By the time they reach Sixth Form (16-18-year-olds), they live in university-style ensuite study bedrooms.
