The cast and crew of Macbeth Unsexed arrived at the Fringe on Saturday in glorious sunshine with only the sound of bagpipes to assure us we were indeed in Scotland! We then walked the Royal Mile, picking up a ton of flyers, and watching a number of skits and tricks from unicyclists to levetators – which Vee was particularly impressed by! We then went to the main C Venues for a catch up and to collect our posters, programmes and flyers.
The people and performers here (and the city itself) are astounding – we can’t wait to be counted among them with our opening performance tomorrow at 3pm.
Rehearsals got off to an excellent start this morning and we are heading over to our venue this afternoon for a further run through.
Edinburgh is abuzz with performers on every street corner – the excitement is contagious. We will keep you updated on our first performance tomorrow.
