On 3rd June, Professor Julia Buckingham CBE, a former Governor and alumna of St Mary’s (current Vice Chancellor and President of Brunel University and President of Universities UK) was interviewed by Sarah Montague on World at One (BBC Radio 4) about the way UK universities are preparing for September in the current climate. This was followed by an interview with St Mary’s Year 13 pupil, Lucy, speaking about her decision to start her studies at Manchester University this September, rather than choosing to defer for a year, and her reasons for this.
