This week is Mental Health Awareness Week and the focus this year is ‘the power of kindness’.
Kindness is defined by doing something kind for yourself and others, motivated by a genuine desire to make a positive difference. Kindness is a natural antidote to isolation and creates a sense of belonging. It helps reduce stress, brings a fresh perspective and deepens friendships. It can also help boost our self-esteem and even improve confidence and optimism. The Fourth Form will also be focusing on this in their Personal Development lessons after Half Term.
