A determined group of pupils braved cold and icy conditions to represent North Wiltshire in last weekend’s regional cross country competition, proving that ‘We Can at Calne’ and demonstrating our Calne value of courage.
Emily I and Issy P competed in the senior section running 3825m. Well done to Emily who came 12th and is a reserve for the next stage.
In the junior stage, Charlotte P, Christabel W, Occie SP and Tilly B ran the slightly shorter distance of 3250m. Despite strong performances, it was a very competitive race and none of our junior runners made it to the next stage in the competition this year.
