Last Thursday (23/4), Ed Rich Company Supper was a tube-tastic evening and a brilliant celebration of company camaraderie. This year’s theme – London Underground stations – really kept everyone ‘on track’, with some truly fantastic and creative costumes on display.
Some costumes really got us thinking, with several showcasing clever wordplay. For their final Company Supper, Tabi G and Quitterie P (both Upper Sixth) rose to the occasion, with Mr Griffin, by dressing as the three astronauts from the Apollo 13 mission, complete with the line, “ ‘Euston’, we have a problem.” Another standout was Giselle P and Charlotte P’s ‘King’s Crustacean’ – that took some of us a while to work out!
We all tucked into a delicious meal of burgers and chips with all the trimmings, followed by brownie and ice-cream factory.
The evening continued with a quiz, testing the girls’ knowledge across a range of topics, including sport, film – and even varieties of Haribo!
It was a really fun night and we were very impressed with the effort of the students with their costumes. I’m sure we’ll be reminded of them next time we travel the London tube stations!
