Our Equestrian had a wonderfully busy and successful Half Term. On Friday 20 March, eight girls took part in flatwork and jumping lessons across the day. It was fantastic to see the progress made, and particularly heartening to witness the supportive atmosphere, with the girls consistently encouraging and celebrating one another’s achievements.
On Sunday (22/3), four girls travelled to West Wilts Equestrian Centre for an NSEA Showjumping competition. The day began on a strong note, with Amelia S riding an excellent round despite a minor tack malfunction. Octavia S P followed with an impressive and speedy double clear, securing 1st place and qualification for Hickstead in May – a superb achievement.
In the 80cm class, the team of Octavia S P, Amelia S, Eliza H and Sophia S P all rode beautifully. Sophia achieved a fantastic 3rd place individually and the team were delighted to take 1st place overall, earning further qualifications for Hickstead.
Sophia rounded off the day in great form in the 90cm class, producing a confident double clear over a challenging track to finish in 4th place.
It was a truly rewarding and successful day, and I am very proud of all the girls for their hard work, determination and team spirit.
