Before Half Term, the Lower Sixth Charity Steering Group organised a whole school ‘Home Clothes Day’ in order to raise money for the charity Breakthrough T1D, one of the leading charities working to improve the lives of people with Type 1 diabetes. Their goal is to create a world without Type 1 diabetes. They do this mainly by funding and supporting research.
With the challenge to wear as much bright blue as possible, to match the charity’s colours, pupils and staff showcased an amazing array of outfits, with blue tutus, wigs, and other creative accessories creating a colourful atmosphere to the day.
Overall, we had a fantastic day and loved seeing everyone dressed up in support of such a worthy cause, raising £382.62 for Breakthrough T1D. Thank you to everyone who took part and contributed so generously.
