Congratulations to Evie, LV (Year 10), who has been selected to represent St Mary’s in the 2023 ARTiculation GCSE category. ARTiculation is the Roche Court Educational Trust’s national and international public speaking initiative, championing the appreciation and discussion of art.

It enables a wide range of students to develop their confidence and ability to express their opinions, thoughts and reactions to the visual world. Evie will go on to present her entry at The National Gallery, London.

Evie explains: 'ARTiculation is such a great opportunity, as it allows me to research my favourite art in further detail than ever before. I adore the piece I chose and am so excited for the new challenges ahead in the competition.'

Competing with her peers, Evie's video entry was creative, personal, well-researched and confident in its delivery. She will now be supported to develop her independent project ready for regional finals in 2023.
