SPoKE is a nationally important competition that encourages creative responses towards encouraging young people to talk about Art; we are proud of Rose’s achievement and look forward to more students competing next year. On the entries, Anna Mathias, Judge, stated: 'We have seen some visual essays of great humour, visual distinction, and compelling narratives on a variety of topics'. Professor Abigail Harrison, in advance of the award ceremony revealed, 'Each year I am blown away by the research, creativity, innovation…. They had thought carefully about research, context and about social and historical moments'.
