The Company Drama competition took place over the weekend of 13th-15th November, with a large number of girls taking part in creating dramatic adaptations inspired by short stories from the book Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls, which focuses on the lives of inspirational women from history and from the present day.

The girls involved worked intensively over the weekend to create their plays which were performed with social distancing in place on Sunday afternoon. The final performances, judged by Mrs Harrison, Miss Darling and Mr Ellis, were funny, inspiring and poignant. They were the strongest set of entries we have had in recent years. Well done to everyone who took part.

The winners were as follows:
In first place - Osmund with their comic adaptation of the Life of Pirate Grace O’Malley.
In second place - Grosstete with a piece inspired by the story of Coy Mathis.
In third place - Moberly with a modern adaptation of the tale of Policarpa Salavarrieta.
In fourth place - Ed Rich with their take on the life of Coco Chanel.
In fifth place - Poore with a comic piece inspired by Misty Copeland.

Individual prizes were awarded as follows:
Best Director - Josephine for Grosstete
Best Fourth Form Performance - Grace for Grosstete
Best Fifth Form Performance - Rosie for Ed Rich
