Resounding Success at the Edinburgh Fringe

Company of WolvesSt Mary's Calne girls will once again be performing at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and preparations for the Fringe performance are well underway. Mrs Rebecca Cochran-Patrick will be leading the direction with Director of Drama, Miss Holly Darling, taking the role of Assistant Director / Producer.

Junior play captivates audiences!

On Thursday 30th June and Friday 1st July the LIV and MIV girls performed this year’s Junior play, Alice in Wonderland. Needless to say, all the hard work has paid off, with a full house for Friday’s performance, not to mention the very appreciative school audience on Thursday.

Fine performances from our GCSE Drama students

GCSE DramaOn Thursday 28th April, the UV GCSE Drama students performed their final pieces to the AQA moderator and a supportive audience of staff, friends and family. The pieces were devised by the girls and based on the theme of 'Change & Transformation'.

Celebrations at the Golden Lily Awards

Golden Lily AwardsOur annual awards evening was held on Wednesday 27th April, in celebration of the work of the Art, Drama and Music Departments. As is traditional for the event, the dress code was Black Tie, giving all involved an excellent excuse to dust off their glad rags!
