We are delighted to invite you to a stunning musical event at the Royal Academy of Music in London on Sunday 20th January 2019, at 6pm. St Mary’s Concert Artists will be taking part in a Gala Concert of star-studded performances and will share the stage of the Duke’s Hall with sensational artists of our time. The concert will raise money for The Armed Forces Fund and will be hosted by BBC Radio 3 Presenter, Petroc Trelawny.
The Concert is part of the school's Cantabile Concert Series and performers include the renowned impersonator and musician, Alistair McGowan. His wife Charlie Page will perform stunning excerpts from the world of musical theatre in which she stars. We will also be welcoming Grammy Award-winning contralto, Hilary Summers**, and Clare Halse from West End's 42nd Street. Clare will be performing with St Mary’s musicians and our Concert Artists will also join forces with boys and young men from the Cardinal Vaughan Memorial School. Opera Ensemble, Junior Consort, Chamber Choir and a bespoke Chamber Orchestra of Music Scholars will be performing alongside our celebrity guests.
Tickets are £45 and include drinks and canapés after the concert and can be booked at: www.calnefoundation.org/inspire
It promises to be a very special evening; we hope to see you there!
