sport nutritionistOn Thursday 25th February, we welcomed Nancy Lunnon, a sport performance nutritionist, who gave virtual presentations to the girls.

In the morning, Nancy gave an informative talk in Chapel on 'Food for Mood', helping the girls in the whole school to understand the different types of foods that help them function, keep motivated and engaged throughout the day.

In the afternoon, our Sports Scholars had a further session with Nancy, where she discussed the correct ways to fuel the body for high level training and performance. The girls asked engaging questions and learnt about overcoming obstacles that can sometimes get in the way of us eating the correct foods at the correct times for sport. We were so thankful for Nancy's time and knowledge. We hope we can invite her back again, next time hopefully it can be face to face.
