We had a record number of entries (just over 230) and pupils from 22 schools competing in our annual school Horse Show this year. Over 220 rounds were jumped over 11.5 hours! We were very lucky to be blessed with perfect weather and lot of happy competitors.

Our girls had a very successful day winning the 90cm team competition as well as coming second, meaning qualification for two teams for the National Championships which will take place in October.

The winning team was made up of Niamh (Year 7), Poppy (Year 10), Daisy (Year 10) and Clemmie (Year 9) and the 2nd place team was made up of Amelia (Year 11), Eva (Year 9), Isla (Year 10) and Nixie (Year 9).

We also picked up individual 5th (Amelia), 6th (Niamh) , 7th (Isla) , 8th (Abbie - Year 13) and 9th (Daisy) in the individual 90cm competition.

In the 100cm Isla finished 2nd and 3rd, qualifying as an individual for the Championships, with Alice (Year 11) finishing in 6th and Lily (Year 13) in 9th.

Alice ended the day well, winning the 1.10 to gain another Championship qualification.

It was a brilliant day and a very successful one, which really wouldn't have been possible without the help of both students and parents. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who gave up their time to help ensure we held such a successful show.
