Girls enjoy an insight into Psychology

On Thursday 10th March, we enjoyed a Psychology-filled evening with the UIV Form, giving them an insight into what we study in the Psychology A Level course and also how Psychology is applied to everyday life.

There was a variety of activities, including inkblot readings, a memory test and a decision activity with regards to whether they would obey individual scenarios. Topics talked about by the Sixth Form included Freud and his dream analysis, Milgram’s study into obedience and how memory works – all of which are very important when studying Psychology as a subject. We hope that this evening has given the UIV Form useful information and inspired them to carry on finding out more about Psychology.
