The LIV had been looking forward to their Enrichment Week trip to Bude for a long time - and it did not disappoint...
Each morning we would be woken up and go for a morning swim or run. Following this we had breakfast which consisted of bacon, sausages, baked beans, toast and cereal, which were very tasty!!!! After breakfast we would get ready for our activities. On the first morning it was team trail, this was when you had to hold a rope and take a ball through lots of obstacles, with some of us being blind folded. This proved to be one of our favourites. Another favourite was body boarding and surfing, this is because we loved playing in the sea and riding on the waves. Most nights there were discos and we took over the stage. Note to the next year's LIV girls - get to the dance floor first and rock the stage. We also managed to both win the talent show and come second, so we challenge you to try and beat us!
The karaoke is also a lot of fun but make sure to only sign up if you really want to do it because they read the signup sheets out. All of the schools at Bude were divided up into teams of about ten people and throughout the week we competed against each other. One of the St Mary’s teams were crowned ‘Super team’ winners . For some people they conquered their fears to gain points for their team. If you are in LIV next year, we'd advise you to give everything a go because it’s really fun.
It all went so quickly and before we knew it we were on the bus home after a fantastic week away.
