Ed Rich Family Tennis Tournament The Family Tennis Tournament was held on Sunday 14th May in aid of the Ed Rich charity, The Charitable Fund for the Education of Nepalese Children.

Twenty pairs made up of students and a parent, brother, sister or friend competed in some very close matches. Despite the awful weather forecast, the tournament was played in lovely sunshine until the final match when the heavens opened and the players in the final of the Senior Competition got rather wet!

In the Junior Competition, comprising girls from the LIV and MIV,after a round robin competition and the semi-finals, Talitha P. and Octavia S., both partnered by their mums, met in the final. After a brilliant match, Talitha and her mum were victorious. In a similarly hard-fought Senior Competition final, between Emily S.O. and Abigail R., both partnered by their dads, Emily and her dad were the winners.

I would like to thank all those who took part. It was a lovely event, enjoyed by everyone and we were able to raise £460 for our charity.
