On Friday 19th May, our athletes enjoyed a lovely, sunny day at the University of Bath, competing in the Area Athletic Trials.

On 16th May, MIV girls Alice, Catriona, Josephine and Rosie, attended Salters' Festival of Chemistry, held at the University of Bath.
On Saturday 13th May, John Larty from Kwik Fit visited the school to talk about staying safe whilst driving and delivered a practical session to pupils on Car Maintenance.
The Family Tennis Tournament was held on Sunday 14th May in aid of the Ed Rich charity, The Charitable Fund for the Education of Nepalese Children.
Friday 12th May saw the last trip to the Cotswold Water Park for the LIV and MIV girls as part of their Challenge and Adventure programme.
Following their international science award last year for Innovative Use of Technology in Science Learning from the University of Sheffield, twin sisters, Alice and Clara Wade (LVI), have won a second award in Australia with their short film, Test Tube Babes.
On Thursday 11th May, six members of St Mary’s Young Enterprise company, ‘Luna & Sol', represented the school at the Young Enterprise Wiltshire County Final.
On Tuesday 9th May, we were delighted to welcome into school Old Girl, Veronica Bidwell, to speak to the girls about her life after Calne and her current profession as an Educational Psychologist.
The final assessed Bronze Expedition of the season took place over the weekend 6th-7th May.
On Thursday 4th May our teams took part in the Regional Finals for the Bloodhound 'Race for the Line' Rocket Car Competion at the MOD in Corsham.
On Friday 5th May, the LIV and MIV had their second visit to the Cotswold Water Park and Head for Heights as part of their Challenge and Adventure programme.
