At the end of February, two LVI (Year 12) girls participated in an independently organised trip to Auschwitz-Birkenau, Poland.
We have been fortunate enough this week to partner with King Edward's School (KES), Bath and borrow their equipment to investigate 'Black Box Circuits'.
On the evening of Tuesday 27th February, it was our very great pleasure to welcome Dr Paul Prescott to chapel to deliver his lecture on Hamlet. Dr Prescott is the Associate Professor of English and Comparative Studies at the University of Warwick and has recently been working on the National Theatre's production of Macbeth, starring Rory Kinnear, opening next week.
Our Charity Week (in aid of Operation Smile) kicked off to a brilliant and humorous start with the comedians’ performances on the night of Monday 19th February.

For the second year running, we held our Ten-Year Reunion drinks for St Mary's Calne leavers at the Orange Brewery in Pimlico, London.
The girls and staff from Osmund Company came together on Wednesday 21st February for a wonderful evening of dressing up and dancing.
On the evening of Tuesday 20th February, we were treated to a brilliant talk by James Shone; to call it inspiring would be an understatement.

Representing a wide range of professions: Bola Adesola (Banking & Finance), Lynne Copp (Entrepreneurship), Penny Madden QC (Law), Lucy Newcombe (Marketing & Communications), Lt Col Linda Orr (Medicine & the Military), Maureen Scott (Technology) and Zoe Souter (Fashion), our guests very generously took time out of their busy schedules to talk to the girls about their own experiences of life in the workplace.
