DofE expeditionBronze DofE expeditions were postponed this year by the snow in March, however the LV girls have all now successfully completed their delayed Bronze Practice Expeditions in partnership with Wild Country Consultants over two weekends in April.

Golden Lily Awards 2018

Golden Lily AwardsGirls from Art, Drama and Music gathered in Top Hall on the evening of 25th April for a celebration of the Arts. It was the turn of the Music Department to host the evening, and the Guest Speaker was Calne Girl Holly Manners (2011). Holly works as an A & R (Artists and Repertoire) at Warner Bros Records UK, which looks after artists including Dua Lipa, Liam  Gallagher and Royal Blood.

Support for OSCAR Foundation campaign 'kicks off' at St Mary's Calne

OSCAR foundationOn 19th April, we were delighted to welcome the founder of the OSCAR Foundation (Organization for Social Change, Awareness and Responsibility), Ashok Shankar Rathod, to St Mary's Calne.  Ashok gave an inspirational talk in Chapel, with Ruby, an OSCAR international young leader, about the OSCAR Foundation and the #kicklikeagirl tour which runs from 29th September to 13th October.

Pupil donates hair to The Little Princess Trust
