On the first Sunday back in school, each company took part in the extremely fast-paced and exciting ‘It’s a Knockout Challenge’. This provided the girls in the Fourth and Fifth Forms with an opportunity to really bond with other members of their company and to make new friends in a slightly different environment.

The challenge included a range of inflatable assault courses with different aims to each game, allowing each team to try and get as many points as possible for their company. Teams were extremely motivated and competitive and eager to beat their opponents. Games included ‘the kitchen’, the ‘bubble’ pit and much more inflatable-related fun. The first part of the afternoon began with dry-based games which were then transformed into wet games using lots of bubble bath and water.

Proceedings started out quite tame, with teams working together to build different structures to win, but then things became even more competitive when the bubble bath was let loose. Girls began to come up with excellent strategies such as dunking their hair to carry more water to win. Each company had a fabulous day but Poore pipped Moberly to the winning post with 306 compared to their 304 points. An exciting and messy afternoon was had by all!
