CGA TalkIt was such a pleasure to welcome Robin Heber-Percy back to school on the evening of Tuesday 29th January, when she came to talk to the Sixth Form as part of the Calne Girls' Association (CGA) Lecture Series. It was her first visit since the day she left St Mary's Calne in 1987, and she couldn’t get over the difference that 32 years had made!

Her talk was fascinating. Having read Zoology at Edinburgh, Robin began her career as a research assistant in Namibia and went on to spend eight years in Uganda studying the behaviour of chimpanzees and gorillas. She is now involved with development projects relating to international eye health using mobile phone technology.
