February brought with it a snowy weekend to remember, as St Mary's was covered in a beautiful blanket of snow.

The girls had a lot of fun, with snowman building competitions, snowball fights and the weekend ice skating trip added to the wintry, magical feel.  The snow did mean there were no sports fixtures, and the girls had an opportunity to do Aerobics, Spin classes or some ball games in the new sports hall, which they really enjoyed. Mrs Schofield had organised jewellery and sewing workshops too, which were very popular with the girls.

On the Saturday evening, girls warmed up and watched films in House, while many of the Year 12 and 13 girls set off for their much-anticipated social with Radley College.

The girls from Joyce Walters House also ventured out in the snow on Sunday to Headhunters Outdoor Laser combat; the session was full of fun, if a bit cold, and gave the girls the chance to release some energy.  Some of the Year 12 girls had a trip to Oxford, while others enjoyed more fun in the snow, followed by some baking and hot chocolates!
