This year we entered the Oxford German Network Weihnachtsplätzchenbackwettbewerb (we challenge you to pronounce this!) Most German learners at St Mary’s and also the German Club at St Margaret’s Prep took this opportunity to do some baking and biscuit decorating during their German lessons this week. It has resulted in some fantastic looking biscuits that the girls have entered for the competition, which was again virtual due to the pandemic.
Even though the judges won’t get a chance to taste them and will have to go on the visuals only, the girls themselves certainly enjoyed eating their creations. We have definitely made it a difficult decision for the judges to determine the winners, and we will keep all our fingers crossed that we will win a prize! Happy Advent everyone!
