The talented LVI English Literature class performed a witty ‘reduced Shakespeare’ version of their A Level set text this week, while sporting their Christmas attire for Christmas Jumper Day. The usually-four-hour play was boiled down to a pithy blend of famous quotations and perceptive quips by the group’s scriptwriter, Bea (LVI - Year 12).
Resourceful and entertaining, the girls’ props included a plush snake to signify the Ghost of Hamlet’s father, and Queen Gertrude draped in the sheets of her bedchamber! It was a fun and memorable end to the term!
