This week, we have received the results from the Bebras UK Computational Thinking Challenge. We are thrilled to report an impressive increase in the number of girls that have made it into the top 10% of scores in the UK. The Bebras Challenge introduces computational thinking to students. It is organised in over 50 countries and designed to get students all over the world excited about Computing.
In previous years, around 20 students have made it into the Gold Award category. This year, 31 girls have achieved this gold standard and will be competing again in the Oxford University Computing Challenge in February 2022.
