Last Tuesday evening St Mary’s hosted a virtual Overseas Universities Information Evening for current parents and students, as well as reaching out to some of our local partner state schools. We were treated to a detailed overview of the wonderfully diverse opportunities on offer in higher education in the US, Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, all of which regularly see applications from St Mary’s pupils, often alongside their UK applications.

We support all our students in understanding overseas opportunities and offer expert help to navigate the processes and systems involved for successful outcomes, tailored to the individual’s interests and strengths. We were delighted to be joined by Carolyn Tate of A List Education, discussing the US opportunities and process and with whom St Mary’s works to support our US applicants; Yimika, last year’s Deputy Head Girl and currently enrolled at Ivy League Columbia; David Hawkins of The University Guys; and Sarah Nash of Study Options.
