For many years a group of our LIV (Year 7) students have traditionally supported the local Calne in Bloom project. After the recent years of the pandemic and assosciated disruption, we are delighted that we can work together once again and support the project.

On 8th June, a small group of current LIV swiftly changed out of their mufti clothes and walked into the centre of Calne to meet with the project staff. We had been allocated a few planters in the centre of the town which were to be filled with more sustainable planting. The girls eagerly set to work and much fun was had; the girls enjoyed the fact that the fruits of their labour will be enjoyed by the local community. Do keep an eye out for them when you are next in the town centre.
