NikkiHarris TNSwimming for Great Britain at the World Masters Swimming Championships in Japan over the summer, St Mary's Swimming Coach, Mrs Nikki Harris, was awarded with a Silver Medal in the 50m Freestyle and a Bronze Medal in the 100m Freestyle!

This year, the week-long competition was hosted in Fukuoka, Japan, which is six-hours south of Tokyo on the bullet train. The World Masters was incredibly busy with nearly 8000 competitors representing nations from all over the world. Due to the numbers taking part, the competition was split between two venues with the men and women alternating between the two pools.

Nikki took part in the 50m and 100m Freestyle against over a 100 competitors in her age group and proved that all of her hard training this year was worthwhile as she secured a bronze and silver respectively.

Congratulations to Nikki - this is an amazing achievement!
