Uniform
Practical, smart and distinctive, our uniform is worn with pride both inside and outside of school. Our uniform and sports kit for pupils in Years 7 to 11 (LIV to UV) provides comfort, equality and pride. Sixth Form students continue to wear school-branded sports kit but have the freedom to wear their own clothes around school.

Our approach to uniform
Uniform is an important part of life at St Mary’s Calne. It encourages a sense of belonging, reminding girls they are part of a supportive community where everyone is valued. Our shared uniform and sports kit promotes equality and helps pupils concentrate on their studies without unnecessary distractions.
From lessons and sport to performances and trips, it allows girls to feel confident and prepared. Smart and purposeful, it balances tradition with a modern approach that reflects the spirit of St Mary’s Calne today.
Students in the Sixth Form have the additional freedom to wear their own clothes at school alongside their school-branded sports kit.

School Shop
The School Shop is a well-loved Calne tradition that connects practicality with community. More than a place to buy uniform, the School Shop is a welcoming space for both girls and families. Pupils drop in for essentials, additional sports kit and stationery, while parents often enjoy stopping by during visits to school.
Uniform items are always available, alongside toiletries, accessories, memorabilia and thoughtful care packages. The shop is run with warmth and attention to detail, making sure girls are supported if they have forgotten something and always greeted with a smile.
