In April (29/4) our LIV and MIV mathematicians took part in the Junior Maths Challenge, run by the UK Maths Trust.

We were thrilled by the participation of everyone who took part and were delighted to see so many students achieving Bronze, Silver and Gold awards. A special mention to Holly B, Leyna G, Summer H and Bo T from MIV who all achieved Gold awards and received their certificates in Chapel this week.

Congratulations also to Holly, Leyna and Bo who managed to qualify for the next round of the competition. They have been invited to sit the Junior Kangaroo paper in June (9/6) to test their maths skills at an even higher level. We wish them all the best and look forward to seeing how they get on in the challenge.

Back in February, we had a number of older students come through their Intermediate Challenge qualifying for the next rounds.

Congratulations to Michelle P (UIV) who achieved a Silver award and Elsa (Yiran) W (UIV) who achieved a Gold on the Grey Kangaroo and Fiona W (UV) who achieved a Gold award on the Pink Kangaroo rounds.

Well done to everyone who has participated in the challenges this year, it has been fantastic to see your extra-curricula engagement and achievements in maths.
