Have you ever dreamed of turning your musical ideas into professionally produced recordings? Our one-to-one music production lessons offer pupils the opportunity to explore the world of recording and production while developing professional recording, mixing and production skills.

Using our onsite recording studio and industry-standard Pro Tools software, pupils will explore every stage of the music production process, including songwriting, recording, production, mixing and mastering. Whether pupils are singer-songwriters, instrumentalists, or simply interested in the creative and technical side of music, these lessons are tailored to help our students achieve their musical goals.

Students will learn how to record vocals and live instruments, programme MIDI instruments such as drums and keyboards, and produce professional-sounding recordings. In today’s music industry, recording and production skills are invaluable, giving musicians the ability to create high-quality demos and share their work with a wider audience.

The music production programme has already produced impressive results, with every song featured in the Music Production promotional video having been written, recorded and produced by St Mary’s students over the past two years.

Music production skills can also open doors to a wide range of exciting career opportunities within the music and creative industries, while complementing existing instrumental, vocal and musicianship studies.

Places are now available for September 2026. Lessons operate in the same way as one-to-one singing and instrumental tuition.
