The Drama Department is delighted to announce the results of our latest LAMDA (Speech & Drama) examinations, taken in March 2026.
Thirty-one pupils entered the exams and all achieved Distinction, with many receiving 90% or above. This is an outstanding set of results, and we could not be more proud.
Pupils studied Acting, Shakespeare, Speaking in Public or Verse & Prose with teachers Mrs Underwood, Mrs Cochran-Patrick and Mrs Gray. Grades ranged from Grade 3 to Grade 8, with students demonstrating exemplary skills in performance, preparation and technique.
Mrs Freddie Underwood, Head of LAMDA, said: ‘The examination results continue to exceed our expectations and highlight the highest level of teaching and commitment from the pupils.’
Director of Drama, Mr Duncan Ellis, added: ‘These are, again, a set of terrific grades and results that are a testament to the versatility, talent of commitment of the pupils and, of course, our incomparable LAMDA staff, Mrs Underwood, Mrs Gray, & Mrs Cochran-Patrick.’
