On Sunday afternoon (26/4), all year groups took part in an inflatable obstacle course, aptly nicknamed the ‘Calne Crawl of Duty’, kindly organised by the Parents’ Guild of St Mary’s (PGSM).
Situated in the sunshine on St P’s field, the obstacle course had the girl’s climbing ladders, ducking, diving and jumping before finally reaching the slide that marked the end of the course. Many pupils chose to team up, and it was great to see the teamwork as they helped encourage each other over the obstacles. There was of course also some friendly competition as they raced others in their year group to see who could make it to the end in the quickest time.

On behalf of St Mary’s pupils, staff and families, we would like to thank the PGSM for organising such a fun and action-packed Sunday afternoon.
We would also like to thank the Catering team for rounding off the day with a Calne Crawl of Duty themed supper, featuring dishes such as ‘Boot Camp Lasagne’, ‘Commando Cod’ and ‘Mission Impossible Potatoes’.
An enjoyable day was had by all, with the event being a very welcome addition to the Summer Term calendar.
