On Sunday (10/5), the Lower School enjoyed an action-packed day of thrills and adventure as the LIV (Year 7) and St Margaret’s boarders (Year 5 and 6) travelled to Paultons Park, while the MIV headed to Thorpe Park.
Accompanied by Miss Cavanagh and Miss Long, the group made the most of the spring sunshine as they explored the park together, with the flying chairs proving especially popular and the more adventurous riders taking on the spinning ‘Storm Chaser’ roller coaster.
The MIV (Year 8) pupils embraced the opportunity to build independence as they explored Thorpe Park in small groups. Alongside the excitement of the rides, for some, the highlight of the day was a well-earned take-away lunch.
Across both trips, pupils demonstrated excellent teamwork, care for one another and exemplary conduct throughout the day, making it another hugely successful weekend activity programme filled with fun, bonding and memorable experiences ahead of a busy week of exam preparation.
