A number of Year 12 students are Young Leaders with the different Rainbows, Brownies and Guides in Calne. Whilst the units are not meeting in person, we have just started running virtual meetings on Zoom for different units in the area, combining different groups into weekly sessions.
Our Year 8 girls have been enjoying exchanging letters with the elderly residents of Penn Court during the lockdown. As it seems that it might yet be some time before the girls can visit in person, they decided they would like to do something to show their continued support.

This week we have challenged Downe House and Sherborne Girls' to a Virtual Sports Fixture, with results being announced this Friday, 5th June. Events include a pentathlon, a 3km race on Strava and a Year 11 TikTok Challenge.
Due to a family connection, Year 11 pupil, Isabella, has the great privilege of owning some signed, first-edition books by Daphne du Maurier, along with some original newspaper articles on 'How Daphne du Maurier writes her best sellers'.

The St Mary’s Calne Cycling Club is now growing and we have started our 'Tour de France' Challenge which is trying to complete the course collectively before the end of term.
In June, Amena (Year 13) will be unicycling 60 miles (100km) around Singapore in order to raise money for the Rainforest Alliance.
