Exam resultsPupils at leading independent girls’ school St Mary’s Calne have performed superbly in their GCSE/iGCSE results, with 53% graded A*, 78% graded A*-A and 93% A*-B.

Founders' Day 2016: a glorious day of celebration

Founders Day 2016St Mary’s Calne’s 143rd Founders Day’ 2016 took place on 2nd July and began with a wonderful Commemoration Service in the Parish Church of St Mary the Virgin in Calne. This set the tone for the day perfectly; a day for the girls, their parents and families, teachers, staff, Governors and the local community to come together and celebrate, to reflect on the girls’ achievements and to bid a fond farewell to the UVI Form as they look forward to the next stage in their lives.

St Mary's EU Referendum!

In addition to the national vote, St Mary’s girls had their chance to make their views heard. On Thursday 23rd June Ballot boxes opened at 8am in the houses to allow the girls to vote on whether the UK should leave or remain in the European Union.
