On the evening of 18th May, friends Celia Pool and Serena Oppenheim, both 2000 Leavers, spoke honestly and with real clarity about their entrepreneurial journeys over the last 10 years, including their massive highs, lows and everything in between.
Our annual creative arts magazine, Literalily, is now available online. Our external judge, writer and 'BBC 500 Words' judge, Beth Webb, thought this year’s collection was the ‘best ever’ and was thrilled to see such a diverse range of challenging topics covered.
On Friday 14th May, our Year 7s and 8s enjoyed their third, and final visit of this term to the Cotswold Water Park.

The Art School has finally completed the Troll, ably supported by Year 7 and Year 9 for the Year 7 Production, Our Teacher is a Troll, on 27th May at 7pm.
On the evening of 6th May, the Calne Girls' Association (CGA) kindly hosted another online talk for current girls, Alumnae, Staff and Parents, introduced by alumna, Louisa Spicer.
Earlier this academic year, Year 12 pupil, Marguerite, set herself the challenge of cycling 500 miles to raise money for Calne Community Transport.
On Friday 7th May the Year 7 and Year 8 girls had their second week of 'Challenge & Adventure' (CAA) out at Cotswold Water Park.
On Wednesday 5th May, St Mary’s Young Enterprise company, ‘Mushy Peas’, represented the school at the ‘virtual’ Area Final, competing against schools from Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and Bristol.
The Year 7 and Year 9 girls, in their bubbles, have been busy at lunchtimes adding finishing touches to our ‘roarsome’ troll costume! The final outcome in all its glory will be able to be seen later this month.
After the heavy rain last Wednesday, the Year 7 and 8 girls came prepared for their walk on the following day.
Last Friday, 23rd April, we were very excited to get the LIV and MIV (Years 7 and 8) back to the Cotswold Water Park and onto the lakes, as part of their 'Challenge and Adventure' (CAA) programme.
